Building Stuff & All - Our First Mammoth 12 Hour Photo Shoot

Building Stuff & All - Our First Mammoth 12 Hour Photo Shoot

Making History

Back In June 2016, we planned our very first photo shoot for our first Jewellery Product portfolio for the highly acclaimed French Designer: Brin d'Amour. A French designer featured in the likes of Marie Claire and Femina.

The 2 Co-Founders Craig Milbo and Rebecca S. are both featured in the video. We are extremely hands on in everything we do.

 Building from scratch

This planned 3 or 4 hour photo shoot, across our initial 60 products took place on a hot Saturday afternoon in the early Summer of 2016. The clock ticked by and we suffered a number of glitches. Problems with nail and hair appointments, mis-directed taxis, lighting, camera batterys....In took no less than 12 Hours until 4am in the early hours of the morning!!!

We knew at this point (as if we didn't already) that this project would be a long and difficult path to Launch. With this first iconic photoshoot for us testing our limits early on. We knew that we would persevere and keep going though. We wouldn't have had it any other way. As its a core value embedded in our DNA, that we believe in hard work and persistence to get results and then rewards. We don't believe in short cuts or easy fast track routes to success. So we recorded the whole thing on our GoPro camera. Its a lovely summary of the 12 hour marathon, that we will always treasure and look back on. The video is here for all to see. This is what 12 hours of work looks like condensed in to just 1 minute 11 seconds!:
